We had the pleasure of staying there this past week and it was truly remarkable.  This was our first time visiting the park although I did visit the springs when I was a teenager.  A lot has changed since I first visited, but the natural beauty will never change.

One of the highlights of camping at Silver Springs State Park is undoubtedly the opportunity to explore its pristine springs. The park boasts the largest artesian spring in the world, with the water maintaining a constant temperature of 72 degrees Fahrenheit year-round. The sheer clarity of the water allows you to witness the wonders of the underwater world, making it an excellent spot for swimming, snorkeling, and even scuba diving. Floating down the Silver River in a canoe or kayak is also a popular activity, providing a peaceful and scenic journey surrounded by lush vegetation and wildlife.
