Hello, Friends!
We are Greg and Dennis. Along with our two dogs, Tigger and Gizmo, we travel around all over the US looking for adventure, new friends and plenty of good food. Many people have asked us how we made the decision to sell everything we had, but an expensive RV, pull up stakes and just hit the road. Well, this is our story.
Greg is a graduate of Washington State University with a degree in Environmental Science. He is a veteran of the Marines and the Co-founder of the Northwest Shark Preservation Society. He currently works for a large manufacturing company as a planning manager.
Dennis is also a graduate of Washington State University with a degree in Environmental Science. He is a retired healthcare professional and computer science specialist. He served as CEO of a Non-profit working for the preservation of sharks and eco-sustainable fisheries in the pacific northwest. He has two beautiful children and a whole gaggle of grandkids.
These are our babies. Gizmo is a long hair Dachshund and Tigger is a mix of Hound and mutt.
In 2021, we embarked on a luxurious lifestyle, purchasing a beautiful home, a boat, and two jet skis. However, our financial situation deteriorated quickly, and we found ourselves deeply in debt and struggling to make ends meet. After realizing that we needed to make some difficult choices, we decided to sell all of our possessions, including our beloved toys.
Despite our financial struggles, we still wanted to travel and explore. So, we made a plan to buy a small camper and see if it was something we enjoyed. After searching for weeks, we finally decided on a Palomino Puma RV travel trailer, manufactured by Forest River. It was the perfect size for our truck and offered us a comfortable space to live in while on the road.
We have been using this RV for several months and have fallen in love with the lifestyle. We’ve decided to take it a step further and pursue full-time RV living. Our goal is to pay off our remaining debt, sell our house, and purchase a larger 5th-wheel RV once Greg can work from home full-time. We are on track to make this happen in the latter part of 2023.
Living in an RV, even a larger one like a 5th wheel, will pose its challenges for us. But, we are excited to embark on this adventure with our two dogs, Gizmo and Tigger, and explore all that America has to offer.
