This private clothing-optional gay campground

Camp David is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Inverness, FL. This private, clothing-optional gay campground covers 16 wooded acres, offering plenty of shade and seclusion. Three small lakes with a resident alligator provide a unique natural touch to the camp.

The friendly staff provides excellent service and hosts a popular Saturday night specialty dinners that bring the residents together. The camp welcomes both permanent and transient guests, all of whom are friendly and welcoming. RVers of all sizes can enjoy the 30-amp electric, water, sewer, and cable hookups available at each site.

Although the camp does offer wifi, it can be spotty at times due to the high demand from campers. Instead, take advantage of the peaceful atmosphere and soak in the small hot tub available to residents. Keep in mind that the bumpy dirt road leading to the camp requires careful navigation.

The heavily shaded dirt pads offer mostly level sites, but leveling pads and wheel chocks may be necessary. During the holidays, the camp is beautifully decorated with festive lights and decorations. The clubhouse boasts wireless access and a TV lounge, while the video room and clean shower house provide extra amenities.

The small general store and laundry facilities ensure that you have everything you need for your stay. Take a stroll through the walking trails over the 16 secluded acres or venture out to nearby amusement parks like Disney, Universal, Busch Gardens, and Seaworld.  Short-day trips offer a chance to get away for a bit and include areas like Silver Springs, Homosassa Springs, Weeki Wachee Springs, and Rainbow Springs.
As a membership-required campground, Camp David welcomes pets but requires checking with staff when making reservations. Come experience the natural beauty and warm community of Camp David on your next adventure.

To make reservations, call (352) 344-3445, or visit Camp David Web Site 9 am – 7 pm, 7 days a week.
